"Greetings Earthlings, we have now taken over your radioooooooooooooo!"
Alright! Well now...let's see...haha, don't quite know where to start just yet. Today was a good day. I'll just jump right to the fun times. Got to play indoor ultimate today and it was great, had a lot of fun and pissed off another team. Well not me...but the other team complained about how we have so many players with jerseys, and they've never seen any of us before. Now this is a perfectly legit complaint from my point of view. I've played sports before where other teams have brought out ringers...and it was tough, I enjoyed the competition...but some guy that can dunk from anywhere in the paint...that's just no fun to play against! But I guess there is a slight difference between basketball and ultimate. The people that play in these multi-sports leagues are all pretty athletic and excel in certain sports, the only real difference between them and us is that our throws are more refined, I wouldn't even go so far to say that they're better, cause some of them had really nice throws. Once again, I do think they had a legit complaint, so what they did was complain to the organizer and the organizer came over and asked how many of the 9 players we had were actually from the team and it turns out that it was 3, but because I had subbed for them on multiple occasions I was considered a legit sub and legit 4th player. So we had 5 fingers. The guy continued to ask the head organizer and he asked where all of our players were, and the captain told them either away on business, sick or had some dinner function to be doing. To which the guy replied "All legit reasons, and you need subs to play...so play on!" The other team was pretty upset, and apparently my friends really didn't like them cause they are a bunch of douches who are over aggressive in every sport that they played (which they were, they were throwing elbows and one of the guys just wouldn't stop trash talking us). But I kind of shook it off and just tried to be nice about everything, cause it can be rough when ringers come in. I was encouraging them and everything and it wasn't going out of my way to sky anyone or play extremely hard. I played slack D and just had a good time. The final score, after the hour, was something like 25-18, which is pretty respectable I think. They were starting to catch onto the game pretty fast towards the end. After when we all went to shake hands the trash talker was still running his mouth and saying "Come out to other sports! We can kick your ass in those..." I can't wait for volleyball to come around, I'm going to pack him in the face!
After playing in that time slot, I went to go play in another one for a friend of mine. That game was more intense cause it was against a team that I knew. Turns out it was a lot of players from my summer ultimate team. The team I was playing for was really noob, like I think by half time the score was 10-2, but after explaining a few of the rules to them, they really started to catch on and in the end we ended up coming to a draw, 13-13, which is pretty darn good! The girl who asked me to go out is a national player and one of the other girls that joined us after half is also a national player, and so they had some pretty money throws. I was going off towards the end. Pretty much skying everyone, it was an intense but really fun game.
After playing I had planned to walk around the Oval and take a few pictures, but because I had brought Guo (who happened to tweak his groin in the first 2 minutes of playing) and Victoria, we decided to go grab some food...Sooooooooo, I don't have any pics from the oval...but to make it up here are a few shots that I took in my room.
I wish I could have used a tripod for these...but I don't have one, so instead I ended up having to make my own home-made one, which kind of sucked cause it wasn't high enough and it also was on my computer chair, which meant I couldn't actually look through my camera lens, I had to put it on the display screen, which means I couldn't also adjust things the way I had hoped to...so if they're bad...well who cares!=)
My home-made tripod. Not bad...but far from good.
So it kind of started with this...Guile watching Sistars - Ma Boy
Which eventually led to the next series of pictures...
Gervaso eventually joined...
Next the Cameleon (I don't have a name for him yet, but I'm open to ideas)...
Of course Stretch follows the Cameleon everywhere...
Al loves Sistars so he followed...
And lastly George...George loves this type of stuff...
...He also likes to take off his shirt...
So yes, that is all for now. I will retire to my bed so I can rest up the legs. Plyo is killing me...softly...bahaha. Later days.
Just watched this in bed and I had to post it. Enjoy!!!
...I can't sleep...I want to, I really do, but I feel like I have so much regret right now...my heart is stuck in my throat...and yet it feels like it doesn't belong to me. It feels like there's an empty space where my heart should be...I want to talk to someone, but I can't. I can't talk to them...and nor do they want to talk to me...so I'm stuck just waiting... I don't know why, tonight just seems harder compared to other nights. I miss everything about this person. Everything! But I will keep waiting...keep praying and hoping that they don't forget me...and that I get a completely undeserving 9000th try at not messing things up. Just to be able to communicate and talk and have a conversation...*sigh* I want to post this stupid Puss and Boots video on their wall...but I can't...I hate this. All day my brain just won't stop thinking...this and that, here and there...everyday and everywhere. Just got to keep waiting...I just miss her...
